Alissa Toering, MS, LPC Supervisee

I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Colorado Christian University (CCU). My love for psychology stems from a deep desire to help others, rooted in compassion for the hurting. My goal as counselor is to provide support, understanding, and encouragement to anyone who desires counseling. Together, we will explore options to develop a plan that is right for you.

While we are each unique, the approach to your treatment plan will be as well. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and am pursuing specialty training in the fields of Play Therapy, EMDR, IFS (Internal Family Systems), ART ( Accelerated Resolution Therapy), and Autism.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, two children, and two pugs. As a mother of an autistic child, our world looks different, but we have been given grace upon grace to raise our precious children. We love to travel, and are continually adding to our bucket list of must-see places. I personally enjoy reading, coffee, researching healthy living, snuggling with my kids and dogs, and connecting with friends over coffee. I would not be where I am today without the love of Jesus and my amazing family.
